A visit to the beach

A VISIT TO THE BEACH - BY PEYTON

Friday 1st of may we visited New Brighton beach. It smelt very salty but was wonderful to get out for a different walk with Mum, Brock and I.

There were hundreds of people out walking and some with their dogs. There were even people out surfing and some were swimming. We thought it was too cold for that.

With the sand under our feet we drew our names on the beach and ran after each other being silly. We walked about 2.5 kilometres and then around and walked back. Our legs were very tired and sore.

Before we jumped in the car we went and seen my big Brother Travis and his girlfriend Greer as they live across from the beach. But Travis was at work. I wanted to hug Greer but we cant because she doesnt live in our bubble and we have to be careful with the Covid - 19 virus.

  1. Hi Peyton
It was great weather last weekend wasn't it? There were lots of people at the beach. I often run along the tracks to keep fit. It is so nice to be able to get outside and travel a short distance to the beach. I hope you kept your distance from other people!

  2. Hi there Peyton
I love seeing your photos. Isn't it great to be able to get out for walks at the beach as long as there aren't too many people around. A great way to get some fresh air and exercise. It's great you can see some other family members, well done!
