Bridal Path Walk

On Sunday the 7rh June i walked up the Bridal Path walkway with my mum, my friend Payton and her mum Jen, and aunties Suzi, Sally and Bex. It was very steep and my legs hurt, On the way up it was very slow but on the way down it was fast and i had to stop myself from falling over. It was lots of fun.

LOCKDOWN BAKING

Friday 8th May - Lockdown Baking with Peyton

Hey everyone so today Mum, Brock and I decided we would get some baking done. So we decided on Anzac Biscuits, Banana Cake and Caramel Biscuits.

The Anzac biscuit recipe is my Poppa's, the caramel biscuit recipe is my Great Nana's and the Banana cake recipe comes from Glamour Cake Cafe in Lyttelton.

Brock and I had so much fun measuring all the ingredients and then mixing everything together. Mum put the oven trays in the oven as it was too hot for us to touch.

Numeracy work

  Friday 8th May - Distance learning

Term 2 has me doing my numeracy with Mrs Atkinson and Mr Sutherland. We have combined both groups for maths during our video sessions. 
The couple of weeks we have been doing, 
translations, reflections, rotations,  rotational symmetry.

I found this work really hard and needed lots of help from Mrs Atkinson, mum and dad too but i did get there.

A visit to the beach

A VISIT TO THE BEACH - BY PEYTON

Friday 1st of may we visited New Brighton beach. It smelt very salty but was wonderful to get out for a different walk with Mum, Brock and I.

There were hundreds of people out walking and some with their dogs. There were even people out surfing and some were swimming. We thought it was too cold for that.

With the sand under our feet we drew our names on the beach and ran after each other being silly. We walked about 2.5 kilometres and then around and walked back. Our legs were very tired and sore.

Before we jumped in the car we went and seen my big Brother Travis and his girlfriend Greer as they live across from the beach. But Travis was at work. I wanted to hug Greer but we cant because she doesnt live in our bubble and we have to be careful with the Covid - 19 virus.
